We ride bikes.
We promote cycling in all forms in our community. Members ride together near Stanford, California and beyond. Our rides are open to anyone with a helmet! And look, we’re riding bike right now:
We work in our community.
We also work to improve cycling in our community through service. We teach elementary school students safety skills, participate in safety events on campus, and advocate for better cycling infrastructure throughout the region.
We race bikes.
Stanford Cycling is a Club Sports team welcoming riders of all disciplines and experience levels. We represent the University in road, MTB, track, and cyclocross races under the direction of USA Cycling‘s Western Collegiate Cycling Conference.
Our main racing seasons are February through April (road) and September through November (MTB). We compete at USA Cycling Collegiate Nationals and routinely place among the top teams in the conference and the nation.
We host races.
Our collegiate conference is responsible for providing its own races. As an established team in the WCCC, we host a road race weekend each year and often also host a MTB race weekend.
